Story Behind the Shot
Winter 2021–2022. I was living the vanlife around France and based for three months in Frangy, a short drive from Annecy. Most mornings I’d take a camera break before diving into client work and my first art commissions. This frame, an empty bench, long golden winter light, and soft shadows through the trees, felt like the quiet focus I was training into my craft.
About Annecy, France
Nicknamed the “Venice of the Alps,” Annecy blends medieval streets, lakeside parks, and views toward the French Alps. Off-season mornings are calm around Lac d’Annecy, misty air, vintage lampposts, and locals strolling the paths. That peaceful rhythm is what this image holds.
Style & Where It Belongs
A serene, warm-toned print with textured paths, tree silhouettes, and golden hour glow, perfect for living rooms, reading nooks, home offices, and bedrooms that favor minimalist, Scandi, or modern rustic decor. Works as a calming anchor on a gallery wall or above a desk to invite slow focus.
