3D Series - Uraraka - Poster
The 3D Series was created in 2020 in London, just before I began my journey as a nomad artist. I wanted to experiment with merging anime character design with realistic shading, giving each portrait a unique sculptural, three-dimensional feel. While the illustrations are in black & white, the deep contrasts and detailed shadows bring the characters to life in a new way — simple anime shapes rendered with realism, as if they were stepping out of the page.
This portrait of Ochaco Uraraka from My Hero Academia highlights her determination and fiery spirit. The realistic shading gives her face and costume a sculpted effect, intensifying her expression as she prepares for action. A perfect balance of anime charm and a modern 3D aesthetic.
